IMG Launches New Site

We’re excited to announce the official launch of the updated Independent Musicians Guild website, now live at our new and improved home: www.theimg.org!

Over the past few months, we’ve been working behind the scenes to migrate our site from our previous web hosting platform to a new one that better supports the growing needs of our community. The decision to switch was driven by technology limitations that were holding us back, and as IMG continues to evolve, we knew we needed a more flexible, scalable solution that could grow with us.

A Shorter URL for a Bigger Impact

Along with the backend upgrades, we’ve also simplified our domain name fromwww.independentmusiciansguild.orgto👉 www.theimg.org

The new URL is easier to remember, faster to type, and reflects the direction we’re headed as a forward-thinking hub for independent musicians.

Why the Change?

As we build IMG into a powerful network for independent artists, we’re constantly looking for ways to improve accessibility, performance, and clarity. This website refresh is just one part of that ongoing commitment. We want every artist who visits our site, whether they’re a long-time member or just discovering us for the first time, to immediately understand who we are, what we offer, and how they can get involved.
